GRINDLEFORD PARISH COUNCIL \u2013 MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 12 March 2026 AT 7.15 PM IN THE PAVILION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Present:  Andrew Battarbee (chair), Anwen Fryer Burrows, Hilary Hart, Esther Stewart, Ray Whiteley, Alex Erskine, Simon Hutchinson. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was no meeting in January due to bad weather.  It was agreed that forecast extreme wintry conditions would make it unsafe for Cllrs to get to the meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 <\/td>Parish Meeting  <\/td>Agreed that this should be held on 14 May before the AGM and parish council meeting.  Clerk to advertise.    <\/td>Action Clerk<\/td><\/tr>
 <\/td>The Sir William \u2013 pre-planning advice  <\/td>Cllrs agreed all in favour that should it be necessary for an individual to pay for pre-planning advice, as it was a matter of interest to all residents the parish council would meet the cost under Section 137.  Cllr O\u2019Brien had however advised that this was unlikely to be necessary.   <\/td> <\/td><\/tr>

DATE OF NEXT MEETING \u2013 the date of the next meeting is 9 April 2026.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There being no further business the Chair closed the meeting at 8.20 pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
