Robert Wilson, Chair; Elizabeth Coe, Peter O\u2019Brien, John Morton, Rob Tamlyn, Hilary Hart, Cllr Sutton. &nbsp; Sarah Battarbee, Clerk.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>APOLOGIES&nbsp;Andrew Battarbee, PC Boswell<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list {\"ordered\":true,\"type\":\"1\"} -->\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>COUNTY COUNCILLOR\u2019S REPORT \u2013 Cllr Sutton reported that DCC Highways have recruited 40 new members which should improve turn around times for repairs.&nbsp; He spoke about Neighbourhood Speedwatch signs and Cllrs agreed to put up Neighbourhood Speedwatch signs in Grindleford.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;RW mentioned to Cllr Sutton that there were a number of potholes on the road coming down from Fox House and recorded them on the Hub.&nbsp; He also pointed out that the road at Yarncliffe is uneven and there is some subsidence, again reported on the Hub.&nbsp; Cllr Sutton asked to have the job number once it has been received.<\/li><\/ol>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The proposal to have village gates at the Stoke end, possibly with funding from the DDDC community fund, was also discussed and Cllr Sutton and PO\u2019B are to arrange a site visit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><li>DISTRICT COUNCILLOR\u2019S REPORT \u2013 Cllr O\u2019Brien spoke about a DCC biodiversity initiative on sites around the county district.&nbsp; Grindleford has two sites.&nbsp; The cutting timetable is to be amended to establish biodiversity friendly corridors.&nbsp; DDDC is to be a pilot and Council will be asked what we think.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>DDDC has \u00a3100,000 to provide support for families suffering financial hardship, particularly where housing is threatened.&nbsp; External to the scheme there is also help available to replace white goods.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>DDDC is currently running with a \u00a31.5 m underspend.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><li>&nbsp;POLICE REPORT \u2013 PC Boswell sent apologies.&nbsp; He reported that between 10&nbsp;November and 15&nbsp;December there has been one recorded crime of assault.<\/li><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><li>MINUTES OF LAST MEETING.&nbsp; These were agreed as a true record pro EC sec PO\u2019B.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><li>MATTERS ARISING:&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Jubilee Gardens.<\/strong> Agreed to keep the juniper tree but ask Mark Bristow to cut back the ivy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Room hire for Ukraine support group.<\/strong>&nbsp; Clerk confirmed that the Council would pay GPFA direct, up to the end of the financial year when the situation would be reviewed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Precept.<\/strong>&nbsp; Grindleford Parish Council agreed to a 0% raise.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><li>FLOODING \u2013 STANDING ITEM&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The flood group were represented by Dave Kirkup at the climate change event on 8 December.&nbsp; DK met George Jones from the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust with positive results.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><li>CLIMATE CHANGE EMERGENCY DECLARATION \u2013 STANDING ITEM&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Climate Emergency Action Plan event &#8211; thank you to all Cllrs who took time out to attend. &nbsp;The event was very well attended and an unexpected success, with a great deal of positive feedback and attendance outside the usual range of \u2018usual suspects\u2019 as well as within it.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><li>HIGHWAY MATTERS<\/li><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>PO\u2019B to provide a form of wording to send to Severn Trent, to improve better but still ineffectual signage.&nbsp;
