Refuse collection remained an issue although some bins were being collected.\u00a0 A meeting was to be held on 27 July to discuss the problem.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Police Report<\/strong> \u2013 there was none<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Minutes <\/strong>of the last meeting had been circulated to all members before the meeting. They were pro EC sec JRM as being a true record and were approved and subsequently signed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Matters arising<\/strong>:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Network Rail capacity scheme.\u00a0 <\/strong>Megan Harris will attend the next meeting on 12 August.\u00a0 She has asked whether two Network Rail representatives can attend remotely and it was agreed we should try to set that up.<strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dog bins.<\/strong>\u00a0 Cllrs thought the response from the DDDC was unacceptable and asked Clerk to write again, asking for at least two new bins and free collection. \u00a0\u00a0A number of bins in the village had been taken away, and visitor numbers were on the increase.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grindleford Traffic Group.<\/strong>\u00a0 The data crunching has been done and some broad trends are emerging.\u00a0 90% of respondents were in favour of a reduction in the speed limit to 20 mph at least somewhere in the village. \u00a0\u00a0Inconsiderate parking and sightlines also featured significantly.\u00a0 A full report will follow.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Online banking:<\/strong> the Chair had helpfully managed to contact NatWest and collect the necessary information to allow Clerk to proceed.\u00a0 It was resolved that the Authorised Signatories in the current mandate, for account no 95122885, Grindleford Parish Council, sort code 60 10 19, be changed by the addition of Sarah Battarbee (Clerk), and the current mandate will continue as amended.\u00a0 Bank statements to go to Clerk once a signatory.\u00a0 All in favour.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jubilee Gardens<\/strong>: Mark Barlow Ark Landscapes has been appointed pro tem to get the garden in hand and repair the stonework.\u00a0 It was agreed that Clerk should get quotes from two other firms including the Potting Shed Ladies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speedwatch.\u00a0 <\/strong>Risk assessments and training are done.\u00a0 Four sites have been cleared as appropriate for speedwatch within the village.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>RBS Arts Club.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>It was agreed to support this with a letter.\u00a0 Clerk to action.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fiveways drive: <\/strong>the lights are back in use and no action has been taken to return the driveway to the original agreed plan.\u00a0 Clerk to contact Peak Park to ascertain what action is being taken.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Telephone box.<\/strong>\u00a0 It was agreed that Clerk should arrange the purchase of a new door.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong>Highway Matters<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Planet Action.<\/strong>\u00a0 Cllr O\u2019Brien spoke about Planet Action\u2019s day of sustainable travel.\u00a0 The Peak District has 25m car journeys per annum with 10m visitors.\u00a0 Cllrs were asked to attend, at 3.45pm at Hathersage station and elsewhere.\u00a0\u00a0 Our two local MPs were participating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Puddle outside the Old Post Office.<\/strong>\u00a0 It hasn\u2019t rained sufficiently since the July meeting but Cllrs are asked to take photographs of the puddle outside the Old Post Office when it does.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mount Pleasant.<\/strong>\u00a0 The parking at the bottom of Mount Pleasant Road has been raised with Platform Housing but they are unable to do anything about it.\u00a0 Clerk to email the Highways Authority.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pinfold.<\/strong>\u00a0 Cllrs agreed to tackle the overgrowth on the lane.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wildflowers.<\/strong>\u00a0 After an email from DDDC about a wildflower initiative along verges, Council were all in favour of putting Grindleford forward.\u00a0 Three sites were identified \u2013 on the right hand side going out towards Calver, up Sir William Hill on the left\u00a0 hand side near the derestricted speed limit sign, and outside the lower gate of the church.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ragwort<\/strong> \u2013 it was agreed that Clerk should write on behalf of the Parish Council to the District Council about the issue down Leam Lane.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>DATE OF NEXT MEETING<\/strong> \u2013 Thursday 12 August.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As there was no further business the Chair closed the meeting at
