Wilson; Councillors P O\u2019Brien, A. Battarbee, J.R. Mottershaw, R Tamlyn, J H Hart.&nbsp;&nbsp;Clerk Sarah Battarbee.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apologies:<\/strong> R J Whiteley, E Coe, J S Morton.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li><strong>County Councillors Report:<\/strong> we were pleased that Cllr Twigg chose Grindleford as her first meeting after returning to work.&nbsp;The Councillor advised from a County Council perspective on a planning issue and on electric recharging points.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>District Councillors Report:<\/strong> nothing to report that is not covered elsewhere.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>&nbsp;<strong>Police Report:<\/strong> there was none.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Minutes<\/strong> of the last council meeting had been circulated to all members before the meeting.&nbsp;&nbsp;They were Pro JRM Sec PO\u2019B as being a true record approved and signed.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Matters arising:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Peak Park Parishes Forum.&nbsp;&nbsp;Hilary Hart kindly volunteered to approach the secretary to put her name forward for the Forum.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Parish Assessments \u2013 HH has made some comments.&nbsp;&nbsp;Clerk has asked for an extension to the deadline so that any further comments can be considered at the next meeting.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Planning Applications:<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>NP\/DDD\/0619\/0682&nbsp;<\/strong>Leam Farm, unnamed road from junction leading to Torr Farm to Sir William Hill.&nbsp;Erection of a general purpose agricultural building, for storage of hay straw and fodder.&nbsp;&nbsp;No objections.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022  <strong>NP\/DDD\/0619\/0679\u00a0<\/strong>Fiveways Maynard Road Grindleford.\u00a0\u00a0Removal or variation of conditions 2 and 3.\u00a0\u00a0The Council objected in the strongest terms to variation of both these conditions.\u00a0Clerk has responded to the Peak Park.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Accounts:\u00a0<\/strong>the following cheques were presented for signatures Pro RT Sec JRM that they be approved and paid.\u00a0<\/li><li>\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Cheque<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Date<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Payee<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Amount<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Details<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>938<\/td><td>4\/7\/19<\/td><td>Zurich Municipal<\/td><td>\u00a3539.46<\/td><td>Insurance&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>939<\/td><td>11\/7\/19<\/td><td>Outgoing clerk&nbsp;<\/td><td>\u00a3100<\/td><td>Leaving donation<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>940<\/td><td>11\/7\/19<\/td><td>P W Colledge<\/td><td>\u00a328<\/td><td>Cleaning bus stop<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li><strong>Highways:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>RTkindly agreed to attend the meeting to talk about local parking issues arranged by Hathersage parish council.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li><strong>&nbsp;Correspondence:<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Electric car charging points \u2013 correspondence with Keith Postlethwaite, DDDC, was discussed and will come back to the next meeting&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The field adjacent to the former Newfoundland nursery is being used as a venue, with yurts and teepees regularly on site.&nbsp;&nbsp;Peter O\u2019Brien had spoken to the owner.&nbsp;&nbsp;Clerk to establish whether the field is within the Grindleford parish boundary.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Transition Hope Valley support<\/strong>:&nbsp;&nbsp;After a series of well attended meetings focusing on the Hope Valley response to climate change, AB proposed that we should proactively support this work within Grindeford.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Pro HH Sec JM that we should do so and bring the issue back to future meetings to see what form that support might take.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>13.&nbsp;&nbsp;There being no further business the Chairman closed the meeting at 9.15 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>14.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Date of next meeting: 8 August at 7.30 pm in the Bishop\u2019s Pavilion.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sarah Battarbee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clerk to the Council&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GRINDLEFORD PARISH COUNCIL \u2013 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON 11 July 2019at 7.30pm IN THE BISHOP PAVILION.
